BALI
10th December 2012
Hello surfers and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (keeping the Bali stoke alive since 1999) for the latest news and views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of BALI.
I started off the day with a 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban, hoping to see some change in wave height. But not really any significant showing out there again today. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was still only in the 1-2ft+ sector with the wind coming fresh on shore outta the N-NW. No surfers in the water at the time I was on the beach.
So still hoping to find a little more size we got Ketut to take a run over to the East Coast and see what was going down at Keramas. As it shows in today’s photo gallery wave height over on the East side was still only in that waist to chest high region as well. But at least surfing conditions were clean and glassy and only around 10 surfers in the water while Ketut was over there.
It’s a little bit weird as most every swell prediction site was all calling for more size than what we actually have. So it makes ya wonder, who’s copying off who LOL.
Weather wise we got off to a great start with plenty of blue sky and a midday temperature easily busting into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale. But by mid afternoon the cloud banks started to roll through, with some big black and nasty ones luming to both the north and the south of us here in Tuban.
I’ve also loaded the last Bali beach loving girls photo gallery into our Readers Report page so worth a look for all you red blooded normal boys.
I also have another bodyboard photo gallery ready to load up and I should have that online for those that care later this evening.
Ok then hopefully we’ll see some waves tomorrow morning so drop by the baliwaves if ya get a spare minute.
