BALI
13th December 2012
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com again today for your daily fix of surfing and weather information from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so with the early morning low tide there wasn’t a lot happening surf wise on the Outer reefs here in Tuban. There was a few waist to head high sets hitting Middle Reef but nothing going down on Kuta Reef or Airport Left (tomorrow fingers crossed). So with a light Northerly wind and rising tide we made our way up to canggu here on Bali’s West Coast. Arrivin around 7.00AM to find some nice little waves breaking on all 3 of her main sections in the chest to well over head class. There were pretty mellow numbers on the left hand reef and sand bar but there appeared to be a little more tension happening on the right hand river mouth.
Anyway there were some nice waves up there this morning. We hung out for two surfs, packing up at 12.00 noon. Even then surfing conditions were still fairly clean and tidy.
Weather wise it was hot hot hot up on the black sanded beach of Canggu and even when I checked the temperature at 3.00PM the mercury was still sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction was coming back out of the North at 2-4knot.
