BALI
8th – 9th December 2012
Hello friends and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so as it shows in this latest photo gallery I snapped off on Saturday down at Bali’s swell magnet location of Uluwatu wave height was still only just a minimal waist to chest high at best. But even so surfing conditions were clean and glassy and there was only a handful of surfers in the water. Hey, and if Uluwatu is only 2ft then there ain’t too many waves anywhere else in Bali, or Indonesia for that matter.
This morning (Sunday the 9th) and my 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a slight increase or a little bit of extra movement out there. Still only in the waist to waist high plus sector, but still an increase on yesterdays virtually flat scenerio. Wind direction this morning was coming a little fresher from the NW but hopefully soon we’ll see another swing to the SE – SSE as it did yesterday. If so we’ll make another sun down to the southern end of the island to check things out for ya’s.
The next tide today here in Bali has a 0.6mtr Low scheduled for 12.00 noon.
Weather wise currently now at 9.00AM the mercury is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius with the humidity backed off to 79%. Wind direction is now West at 8-10knot. Mainly sunny sky with a couple of clouds driftin.
