BALI
2nd -3rd December 2012
Hello surfers and thanks for joing us here at the baliwaves.com (Bali’s premier surfing website since 1999) for the start of another surfing week here on the always in season tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Sorry about no report yesterday but I tell ya, it was good to have a day off and just hang around home with the family. Not too mention my wife’s Balinese home cooking, yes sir. Anyway this mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was still looking fun out there. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with 2-3ft+ waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running in and Middle Reef was pulling the best size and consistency with the set waves going well over head. Kuta Reef also had some peeling left handers running along the reef and already a few early birds out there on it.
Looking for a wave today with the ligh wind and fun sized swell you’d be able to find something to put a smail on your dial any where between Canggu to Uluwatu here on the West Coast and likewise from Green Bowls to Keramas over on the East Coast.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 2.0mtr High at 12.30PM
Weather wise here on the holiday island there was a bit of cloud cover earlier this morning but now at 10.00Am it’s starting to break up and looking like being just another hot and sunny day for the lucky one’s left here in Bali. Temperature wise the mercury is currently sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, with the Humidity on 84%. Wind direction is a light Westerly at 3-5knot.
Changing dollars to Rupiah here in Tuban; –1AU$=Rp9,950 — 1US$=Rp9,520 —
We’ll be taking a run down to the southern end of the island with the 1000mm lens later this afternoon so drop by again later this arvo for the best views that Bali has on offer. Keeping the Bali stoke alive and kickin right here on the original Bali surf report website.
