BALI
2nd January 2013
A big hello to everyone tuning into the baliwaves.com (Bali’s daily surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and absolute greatest views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Right then it’s been a fairly lengthy type of day for old Slim so I’m mainly just going to let today’s photo gallery do the walking. We were on location around the 8.45AM mark for an incoming tide, light off shore wind and an almost consistent 2-3ft+ wave height (waist to over head high). There were already around 30 other surfer already there before us but distributed between the 4 different sections. Excuse the lighting in some of the photos cause it was one of those dull, cloudy, patchy rain but totally front light when the sun did burst out.
There should still be a few waves for us again tomorrow so if you’ve got the time then we should have some more Bali waves to show ya. Not bad so far this year, 2 days out of 2 of OK waves over here in 2013.
Weather wise at 5.00pm even though it was raining the outside temperature was still on 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level at 79%. Wind direction was coming out of the W – SW at 5-8knot.
