BALI
15th January 2013
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (keeping it real since 1999) for the latest news and best views of today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of BALI.
Early morning rain today and the road was still pretty damp when we made our way up to Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast. Arriving around 8.30AM ti find wave height in the 3-5ft range and clean surfing conditions. The left hander in front of the cafe’s was out standingly had the best waves while the tide was still running in. And there was also a few coming through on the right hander down on the river mouth. Only 6-8 riders on the left and another half a dozen or so on the right. Quite a lot of sand missing from the beach obviously from the big seas and big tides as well.
I’ve also thrown in a quick little photo gallery of a few waves we found over on the East Coast late yesterday afternoon. There was some pretty near perfect waves coming through and once again only a handfull of surfers on the scene.
Weather wise it was mainly overcast all day with the few brief patches of sun shine. We did get some more afternoon showers, and now at 4.30PM the outside temperature is sitting on 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 89%. Wind direction is now coming outta the West at 5-8knot.
