Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (bringing a little bit of Bali to you since 1999) for the latest news on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on the with out a doubt No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Yesterday the 18th and I had some running around to do and new arrivals coming in so I didn’t have the time to go and shoot ya’s up another gallery, I’ll be taking care of that today. Anyway it was a real nice surprise to see the wind shifting back to the ESE and off shore along Bali’s premier coast line. No where near Trade wind strength but all the same off shore. Wave height on the Outer reefs of Tuban was only coming through in the 1-2ft+ range with the bigger set waves hitting Middle Reef. That was through the morning, later through the afternoon you coulda added another foot of size to all sections.
One of my guests who is currently over in Lembongan (installing a new swimming pool into his estate) phoned through yesterday to say that all 3 of the main breaks on the island had good waves. Shipwrecks in the 3-4ft+ range, Playgrounds @ 2-3ft and even some head high waves jacking up on Lacerations.
I also had a phone call from one of the local boys down at Uluwatu and he was calling Uluwatu to be smoking through in the head to almost double head high range.
This mornings 6.30AM surf recon on the Outer Reefs to me was looking a touch bigger than yesterday with some solid head high waves peeling through on Middle Reef (low tide). Kuta Reef and Airport Left on either side of Middle’s were only showing 1-2 footers and still not enough water over the reef. No surfers in the water at the time.
The next tide today is going to be a 1.9mtr High at 1.50PM
