BALI
13th – 14th March 2013
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (bringing it since 1999) for the latest news and a few views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from the only place to head for on your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok well yesterday the 13th and wave height was pretty small with only 1-2ft waves at most locations. So I just hung out for today and the new swell that was scheduled. My first surf check was at 6.50AM and still no swell showing on our West Coast but predicted to start showing with more incoming tide.
So the boys and I loaded up the car and headed over to the East Coast with Keramas as our primary location. Arriving at 7.30AM to find 5 surfers already in the water with wave height in the waist to head high range. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until around 9.30AM with the wind swinging more to the South. Also by this time the crowd had jumped to 25 surfers on the main break and another 7 down on the car park section. There were also some bigger well over head sets starting to come through by mid morning.
Weather wise it was another very hot and sunny morning here on the holiday island with the temperature easily busting through that 30 degree Celsius mark. Then driving back home to Tuban at 1.00pm it was raing hard in the Sanur area.
