2nd – 3rd April 2013
Another big hello to all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves.com (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) to find out exactly what’s been happening surf and weather wise here on the first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Yesterday the 2nd and our first surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height just about down and out. Only just dribbling through in the 1-2ft class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But knowing that the East Coast was delivering a little more size than the West we headed for Keramas. As it shows in our current 60 strong photo gallery Keramas was still producing some punchy fun sized waves in the chest to over head range on both breaks.
We arrived on the scene at 8.45AM to find 10 surfers on the main break and another 10 on the car park section. Surfing conditions as it shows were clean and glassy as the tide started to fill in the number of surfers jumped into the mid twenties, so we bailed out.
This morning the 3rd and not much change has taken place surf wise on the Outer Reefs, if anything maybe even a touch smaller. My crew have headed back over to the East Coast again and have phoned in to say there were going out for a quick surf at Serangan. Wave height coming through in the waist to head high range with clean and glassy surfing conditions. Only 2 other surfers in the water at the time (8.20AM).
The next tide over here today will be a mid range High around the 3.00PM mark.
