Hi surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (bringing you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for today’s run down on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
First off sorry I didn’t get to post ya’s an up date yesterday. For some reason or another the mobile 3G network here in Bali has been hot and cold for a month or two now and yesterday, when I needed it…
But anyway there was a few fun sized waves happening here along the West Coast with the Outer Reefs turning out some waist to head high waves between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, Middle Reef picking up the bigger sets.
This morning the 17th and we did have plans to check out a different location than where we ended up at but the old faithful Trade wind has been blowing hard the last couple of days so Uluwatu it had to be. Wave height down at Bali’s premier surfing location was still pretty tame at 2-4ft, but there were some nice peaks hitting the Main Peak section.
Surfing conditions were clean as it can be with a good off shore wind on it. A little bit busy crowd wise as you would imagine but by say 2.00PM the numbers were down to around 20.
Weather wise it was another hot and mainly sunny type of day and right now at 6.00PM the outside temperature is still on 28 degree’s Celsius, humidity on 80%. Wind is coming out of the East @ 23kms.
