BALI
29th – 30th May 2013
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping by the baliwaves.com (keeping you in the loop since 1999) for the latest news and views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Yesterday the 29th and Ketut and I took the day off to persue one of our favorite hobbies besides surfing, fishing. We pushed the 9mtr outrigger down to the water around 7.30AM and headed South in persuit of pelagic’s. But anyway I’ve got a whole new batch of fishing photos and I’ll be doing a monthly Bali sport fishing report for ya’s tomorrow morning. I can tell you wave height yesterday was pretty small all the way down the coast with Uluwatu the only real option for a paddle with wave height in the waist to head high class.
This morning Ketut hit the road with the camera equipment a littl ways up the coast to Canggu. And as ya’s can see in his photos wave height up there was also still only coming through in the waist to chest high plus region on the left hand sand bar and the right hand river mouth. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the early morning wind coming lightly out of the NNE.
Tomorrow hopefully we’ll see a slight improvement in wave height with a small spike in size and period so we’ll be back out there again on the wave hunt. So make sure you call in to see what’s happening here on the original Bali surf report website.
I’ve also loaded ya’s up a fresh photo gallery and surf report from our good friends at the Kandui Surf Resort up in the Mentawai Islands. So check out their page before ya sign out ok.
Weather wise today’s been a real treat with pretty much nothing but blue sky and sunshine around this part of the island, fingers crossed for more of the same tomorrow so we can finally say the Dry Season has started.
