BALI

Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time out to drop by the baliwaves.com (bringing you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical holiday island of BALI.
Ok well as you all already know wave height over the last couple of days has been pretty damn small to say the least and I know you don’t want to see photos people wiggling on 1 footers. But this morning there has been a slight improvement in size. As those who follow @baliwaves on twitter or #baliwaves on instagram would already know.
Our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was infact showing knee to waist high plus waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the early morning wind coming lightly out of the NNE. So as it shows in today’s photo gallery I snapped off we were down on location at Indonesia’s swell magnet by the name of Uluwatu.
We pulled in around 8.45Am to find wave height in the 1-2ft+ range and around 90 *surfers spread between the Temple and the Main Peak. As the tide lept running out and just about the time we were packing it up there was now some waves pushing the head high barrier and the odd sly one running down the Racetrack. But it is Saturday afternoon and I do have a date with my BBQ and a 6kg GT I gaffed the other day.
Weather wise today (re Twitter) it’s been annother Bali classic with loads of blue sky and sunshine for all the beach lovers. Temperature wise right now at 3.00PM the mercury is still sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius and the wind is fresh out of the SE at 24kms.
