BALI
18th May 2013
Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves.com (working through the weekend since 1999) for the latest news and views on surfing and weather conditions here on the happy little tropical holiday island of Bali.
This morning we were up pretty early and in transit to Keramas over on the East Coast by 6.00AM so there was no time for the usual surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. Arriving at our destination just after 6.30AM to find 7 surfers already in the water and wave height pretty well scrapping the bottom of the barrel at 1-2ft. Surfing conditions how ever were perfect with a clean and light off shore wind that lasted through until around 11.00AM.
Even though the waves were small there was still some pretty shape and a bit of fun still to be had by all on location.
Weather wise it was a mixture of overcast, cloudy, rain. Followed by sunshine and heat then finishing the day off (currently 5.30PM) with some more rain.
Looking at the swell forecast and I don’t think there’s a helluva lot happening for tomorrow but we’ll be out there again doing our best to bring ya’s all a little bit of the Bali waves. So stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report website.
We’s also like to give a shout out to our friends at ELECTRIC (Indonesia) and you’ll soon be seeing a lot more of these guys and their team riders here in the baliwaves.com.
