Hi surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (bringing a little bit of Bali to you since 1999) for the latest news and hands down best views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the happy little tropical surfing holiday island of BALI.
As it shows in today’s 57 strong photo gallery my guests and I were up long before the sun rise and in transit ovver to the East Coast to try and find some un crowded waves. Arriving at our destination around 6.45AM to a totally empty car park but to a line up with 16 surfers already in the water.
All was good though and a nice and friendly crew with plenty of waves for everyone on the scene. Wave height was averaging in the head high class with the occassional bigger freak sets. Not a lot of tube rides happening but some super clean and well tapered walls for big carving turns. Surfing conditions remained smooth and tidy right through until 9.45AM when the wind started flicking around and then finally dedicating to the ESE and hopefully the start of our Dry Season ?
I didn’t get a look at the Outer Reefs today but our main man Ketut Pica was calling wave height to be in the waist to chest high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Hopefully by tomorrow morning we will have a slight spike in wave height (a big spike would be better) and we are going to be back out there somewhere for another dawn patrol session. So stay tuned into the original Bali surf report ok.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.4mtr Low at 3.30PM.
Weather wise right now at 3.30PM the mercury is still a warm 29 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity sitting on 70%. We did have a mainly hot and sunny day but now we have the afternoon clouds packing in together. The sun is going to be setting at 6.07PM for you romantics.
