BALI
11th July 2013
Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves.com (bringing you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditons from right here on everybodies favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so sorry about yesterday but I had a whole heap of other stuff I had to address. But I can tell you that wave height here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban wave height did manage to push into the waist high sector on Airport Left.
Today I never got the chance to do the surf recon on the old Outer Reefs as we were out on the road and heading over to the East Coast long before the sun poked it’s head up. Arriving at 6.30AM to an as expected still a touch too low tide but clean and tidy 1-2 foot waves. So we just chilled for half an hour and as the tide did turn the waves were getting a little more consistent and a touch more size showing. No surfers in the water at first but peaking around the 15 mark.
Ketut has reported that wave height today between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was only showing in the 1 foot class.
My old friend Sarge has phoned through from G-Land to say it’s been raining cats and dogs over there this morning and only knee to waist high waves breaking at Kongs’s. But that will be changing soon enough with fresh new swell in transit to Indonesia.
So if anyone is interested in going over to the legendary left hand wave of East Java contact me and baliwaves.com will hook ya’s up with a solid 10% discount.
Weather wise here in bali mit’s been a real shocker of a morning with rain squalls constantly blowing through the East Coast where we were today. Right now at 3.30PM the outside temperature is on 27 degree’s Celsius and the wind now coming out of the East at 15-20kms.

NB: Petrol price has finally been increased here in Indonesia with a 40% hike so you can expect prices right across the board to follow suit. Being a small island everything we need comes here by truck. I would expect our beloved Bintang beer to be the first to be jacked.
