Ok so this morning we didn’t need to travel to far from home to find some supur fun sized 2-3ft+ waves. The Outer Reefs here in Tuban was our venue and we were in the reef taxi by 8.15AM. Kuta Reef was our pick of the main breaks and with the tide running in and a clean fresh off shore wind we couldn’t have gone wrong. There was around 30 other surfers in the line up but still there wasn’t too long a wait between the sets.
Middle Reef was also looking the goods attracting an extra foot or two of size and peeling off nicely, but you could also see plenty of takers out there as well. While Airport Left was pretty well outta the equation with plenty of reef taxi’s sitting in the channel.
The next tide today here on the island of the God’s will be a 0.3mtr Low around 7.00PM tonight.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day with some cloud drifting over us from time to time. Temperature wise right now at 2.15PM the mercury is sitting on a warn 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 74%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 20kms. Sunset is set for 6.14PM and the best place to enjoy the sun sinking down over the waves is on the beach with a cool drink in ya hand.
Sarge’s G-Land surf report came through at 7.30Am calling in head to double head high waves chowing from the top of Money Tree’s and going right down to the launching Pad. Clean off shore wind and low numbers in the water.

NB: Petrol price has finally been increased here in Indonesia with a 40% hike so you can expect prices right across the board to follow suit. Being a small island everything we need comes here by truck. I would expect our beloved Bintang beer to be the first to be jacked.
