Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (working through the weekends since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical holiday island of BALI.
Ok so with this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban just barely showing some micro lines passing over the reef, but not actually breaking. So we knew there would be no real need to go searching all over the island for what waves would be on offer. Instead we cruised up to Padma St in Legian where some of the best beach breaks in the World can usually be found. But even at Padma St today there wasn’t much happening, unless you were equiped with a 9 footer. Then you coulda had some fun. It was a perfect day for the untold number of surf schools lining right along the shore line just about as far as one could see in either direction. But anyway I still managed to throw ya’s a quick photo gallery together from on the beach and on the drive back home.
Weather wise today she started off grey and broody with the wind coming out of the S-SSE. It was around lunch time that there was a little more Eastern direction added into the wind factor. Right now at 2.30PM the outside temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius and the real possibility of some late afternoon rain.
The next tide will be a 0.3mtr Low at 4.00PM. Today also has a New Moon rising tonight.

Alright then that’s me done for today and time to head down to the beach to hang out with the boys. Have a good one and tune in again tomorrow to Bali’s original surf report website.
NB: Petrol price has finally been increased here in Indonesia with a 40% hike so you can expect prices right across the board to follow suit. Being a small island everything we need comes here by truck. I would expect our beloved Bintang beer to be the first to be jacked.
