Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Well it is was it is and this is about as good as it was at Uluwatu yesterday morning. We knew the surf was going to be small no matter where we searched so we went straight to Bali’s swell magnet location. Arriving at 7.30AM to see only 1-2 footers breaking on the Main Peak and around 20 surfers in the water. That opening sequence in today’s gallery was the biggest set of the day and the only one of it’s size.
Today the 6th and our surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty crook, actually looking more like a lake than an ocean. I also had a report from down at Uluwatu saying that wave height was in the 1 foot class and hardly breaking.
Swell check; The next few days are only going to be marginally better with a slight bump, then around the 11th we should be getting back to normal with at least 2 new medium sized swells in transit to Indonesia.
Weather wise it’s been overcast through the mornings with a few patches of sunshine in between. There also been still a few drops of rain falling here and there. Average midday temperature is still in the low 30’s on the Celsius scale.
