Hello again surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (keeping it coming since 1999) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on little tropical surf riddled holiday island of BALI.
Our first surf check on the Outer Reefs this morning as per our Titter feed on the baliwaves. Had wave height in the 1-2 footer breaking between Kuta Reef and Aiport Left and the slightly bigger freak set hitting Middle Reef. Light and variable wind with the tide running out through the morning.
From there and even though the tide was running out we ended up at Canggu. Hitting the sand at 7.20AM to find clean and glassy surfing conditions with wave height coming through in the waist to head high range. Probably already around 30+ surfers in the water riding the sand bar and river mouth sections. By 9.45AM the SE Tradewind started to kick in and take the shine off the waves, but still very surfable.
Weather wise this morning here on the holiday island it was mostly grey sky with the odd burst of sunshine at Canggu. Since midday with the Tradey fully kicked in we’ve got our blue sky back.
The swell forecast is looking good with another small pulse in wave height for us on Friday building through Saturday. Sunday and Monday are looking good with a nice medium sized waves, depending on location of course. Then fading out through Tuesday and Wednesday then small to micro on next Thursday.
Today’s G-Land surf report came through at 8.30AM calling good waves in the head to well over head high class on the Fan Palms section. Clean off shore wind with only 1 surfer in the water. Everyone killing time waiting for the tide to turn.
So if anyone is interested in going over to the legendary left hand wave, G-LAND of East Java contact me and baliwaves.com will hook ya’s up with a solid 10% discount.
