BALI
21st – 22nd August 2013
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (bring you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best darn views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok well yesterday the 21st and Ketut and I still had the fever, fishing fever that is and so we spent the morning trolling for Spanish Mackerel up the coast. Not a bad mornings effort either bringing home two nice fish and top scoring for the morning session.
This morning the 22nd and after receiving some early morning intel I had my guests up by 5.30AM and on the road by 6.15AM heading for the East Coast. Pulling into an empty car park things were looking good, and hopes high. After a quick recon to see only 3 surfers in the water and wave height in the 2-3ft range and the occasional bigger set wave it was on. Surfing conditions were as clean as it can get with the tide running in. Crowd wise there was a few more surfers turn up but still only maxing at 13 in total.
So after a 2-3hr session everyone was satisfied and time for a bite to eat. Even when we packed up at 11.00AM there were only 9 surfers out there and the waves were still pumping through consistently. So all in all not a bad day at the beach for the baliwaves crew.
Weather wise here on the Island of the God’s it was hot and sunny over on the black sanded East Coast. Right now at 3.00PM the outside temperature is still up there on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level at 74%. Wind direction is currently coming outta the East at 15kms. Sunset this evening is going down at 6.18PM.
The next Tide today in Bali will be a 0.0mtr dry reef exposing LOW at 5.00PM
Our G-Land surf report came through at 7.45AM calling in waist to shoulder high waves on Money Tree’s and some head high set waves hitting Kong’s. No wind at all at the time and no surfers in the water. I also loaded a new G-Land Photo Gallery this morning so take a look and see what it was like yesterday.
So if anyone is interested in going over to the legendary left hand wave, G-LAND of East Java contact me and baliwaves.com will hook ya’s up with a solid 10% discount.
