BALI
14th September 2013
Hi folks and thanks for hanging out at the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination called BALI.
Ok it’s Saturday night and it’s getting late so I’ll keep this short and swet and just let the photos do the talking right. We hit the road just on sun up this morning and headed over to the East Coast to Keramas. As it shows it was solid and kranking at K-Mas. The tide was just hitting the middle of the run out and the wind light off shore. Crowd wise the numbers crunched at 18.
Later reports from the Outer Reefs had wave height in the solid 4-6ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. A little to much for Airport Left to cope with, while the right hander would have been. Kuta Reef I heard was just the normal high season crowded shit fight. Middle Reef on the Low tide had the lions share of the swell with freak 6 foot set waves.
Sarge’s G-Land surf report from Joyo’s Jungle surf camp was calling wave height a wild and wooly 6-8 foot with clean off shore wind.
So if anyone is interested in going over to the legendary left hand wave, G-LAND of East Java contact me and baliwaves.com will hook ya’s up with a solid 10% discount.
NB: all photos on baliwaves.com are edited to low resolution / quality as possible for easier viewing. We do have all the original photo files for safe keeping and just drop contact us if you need a full resolution / quality original.
Weather wise here on the island of the God’s it was pretty well perfect over on the East Coast after a few drops of early morning rain here in Tuban. Finishing off with a hot and sunny afternoon and a majestic sun set.
