BALI
19th September 2013
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com again (keeping you up to date with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views from your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination.
Ok so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban had wave height in the 2-4ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean enough but the wind was light and variable at the time.
From there we jumped in the car and headed back over to the East Coast to see what was happening at Keramas. Quite a lot was happening when we arrived at 7.45AM. Already there was 35 surfers on the small take off zone at the main break, with a light on shore wind. But surfing conditions were still clean and glassy at the time. My crew didn’t want anything to do with that crowd so we headed a little further back down the coast to an empty right hander.
We took another look at Keramas around 9.30AM and by then the wind was a little stronger on shore but the crowd had dispersed leaving only 12 surfers in the water. So we jumped in for another hour an a half. As it shows in today’s photo gallery even though the wind was on shore the waves were still pretty smooth and clean.
Weather wise it was mostly hot and sunny here on the holiday island.
