BALI
22nd September 2013
Hi folks and thanks for dropping into thje baliwaves.com I the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the latest news and best daily views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
The 22nd’s first light surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing some nice lines peeling through in the 3-4ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still a bit too low at the time for Kuta Reef and Airports but the low tide sections were looking good with a hardly any wind factor happening.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we were on location here on the West side at Canggu. Arriving at 8.20AM to find super clean waves on all 3 of the main breaks and only around 35 surfers in the water. The left hand sand bar and the right hander in front of the river mouth were looking the better options with the tide still running in.
Our 8.00AM surf report from our man over on the East Coast was also calling in some perfect waves hitting the Keramas area. Only 15 surfers out on the main break (at the time) with wave height in the solid head to well over head class. Surfing conditons clean and silky smooth.
Joyo’s G-Land surf report had wave height pumping through in the 4-6ft class with the odd bigger freaks set from the Ledge through Money Tree’s. Surfing conditions clean and glassy before the off shore Tradewind kicked in making it even better. So with the season still going strong and low numbers in camp feel free to contact us here at baliwaves.com and we’ll get you there with a 10% discount back in your pocket.
Weather wise yesterday we had a mostly sunny day here on the holiday island with light and variable wind through the early morning before the off shore SE Trade wind kicked and started to crank up the tempo around midday.

Ok folks Slim will be off island today for some important stuff but Ketut will be out there shooting the best waves on offer for us all. And hopefully if everything goes smoothly we’ll be finally up grading our photo and video quality with some shiny new camera equipment.
Web Cam, after a successful meeting with our on island web cam technician everything is ready to run with the baliwaves web cam and we should have the power running again in the next few days, just in time to see some lines peeling down the line at Impossible’s.
