Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (bringing home the bacon since 1999) for the latest news and best views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok so we kicked off the day with an early morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban to find wave height was coming through in the 3-5ft+ region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at 7.00AM were clean and glassy with only just a slight breath of wind.
But, we were heading over to the East Coast to take advantage of the light and variable wind that was predicted for Bali today. Our first check was at a place that only a couple of years ago was no where near the maps and hardly known. Wave height here was smoking through in the 4-5ft+ range with a clean off shore wind, but with already at least 20 surfers in the line up.
From there we back tracked down the coast a little way to another place that’s just coming into the radar to find wave height also in that over head to double head high plus sector and only 1 lone surfer styling through some deep barrels. But my crew were keen to go and surf at Keramas. So as it shows in today’s gallery I blasted off K-Mas was going balistic with wave height in the 4-6ft++ range and some seriously deep tube rides going down. Even at 9.00AM surfing conditions were still smooth as silk, lasting through until 11.00AM when the wind kicked in harder out of the S-SSE.
Weather wise it’s been another mostly ho and sunny day here on the holiday island.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.2mtr Low at 4.45PM
Tomorrows swell predictions are showing wave height to be backing off a little but there should still be plenty happening all over Bali. So stay tuned here at the baliwaves and we’ll get out there and see what we can find.
