Well we’ve been out there at it again with Ketut taking a run up to Canggu here on bali’s West Coast to catch the right tide and the right wind. As it shows wave height was a consistent waist to shoulder high with the odd head to slightly over head high set waves. Surfing conditions were clean as a whistle with still a trace of light off shore wind on it. No shortage of surfers up there this morning with at least 30 surfers riding the right hander on the river mouth and anothe 20 or so riding the left hander on the sand bar. But all the same plenty of waves and great to see some waves after the last few days of micro sized stuff.
I also had a phone through surf report from my man on the scene at Keramas and he was calling wave height on the main break at waist to shoulder high. At 7.15AM there were already 17 surfers on the main break and another 4 surfers out the front of Ngurah’s warung. Surfing conditions remained clean and glassy through until 9.00AM.
Today’s G-Land surf report from Joyo’s Surf Camp was calling waves in the 3-5ft range with a cross / off shore wind and blue sky. Today’s best waves were on kongs and moneytrees with still hope for the afternoon offshore to kick in.

Weather wise today I reckon the midday mercury would have been busting into the late 30’s on the Celsius scale and in the water was the place to be.
