Hell everyone and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (bringing you a bit of Bali since 1999) to see what’s been happening surf and weather wise here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
First of all we’d like to wish all our Balines friends Selamat Hari Raya Galungan dan Kuningan.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty ordinary. At 7.00AM wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was a sad and on shore SW 1-2ft with the odd bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef.
About this time I had a surf report come through from our man on the beach up at Balian calling wave height to be peaking in the 3-4ft range. Clean and glassy with only 8 surfers in the water.
Then I also had a 2.30PM surf report from Medewi calling fun sized 2-3 footers with hardly any waind and no surfers in the water.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery my crew and I were over on the East coast at Keramas. Arriving at 8.45AM to find a very consistent and clean 3-4ft wave peeling off on the main break and some slightly bigger ones hitting the reef in front of Ngurah’s Warung. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad with 14 surfers already in the water.
Weather wise it was even hotter today than it was yesterday I reckon.
Ok tomorrow my family and I are heading up to our mountain side village for Hari raya Galungan so sorry I won’t be posting a report. But hopefully I’ll collect a few photos of the day’s events. I’ve also got another Mentawai Islands surf report to load up for you so stay tuned.
