BALI
2nd October 2013
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (the Bali surf report website by surfers, for surfers since 1999) and the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so as per usual we kicked off our day with a morning surf recon on the Outer reefs here in Tuban. Surfing conditions were looking real nice and clean with the wind already coming outta the ESE. Unfortunately wave height had backed down to waist to chest high at best between Kuta Reef and Airport left.
From there and as it shows in today’s photo gallery, where do you go when there’s no where else, Uluwatu of course. Arriving around 9.30AM and the tide starting to run back out to find wave height in the chest to over head high class. With waves on all 3 of the main sections from Temple’s to the Main Peak and even a few little one’s running down the Racetrack. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind fluxuating from SSE to SE and even an odd burst out of the East to sweeten it up.
Our man on the scene at Keramas over on Bali’s East coast phoned through at 7.30Am to call clean and glassy waves in the waist to head high range. But as usual with an already packed line up of 27 surfers at the time.
I’ve also got another round of photos and surf report from G-Land thanks to our friends at Joyo’s G-land Surf Camp and I’ll get those baby’s on line for ya’s ASAP.
And don’t forget with hardly any surfers over there now is a perfect time to sample those perfect long left hand waves. So contact us here at baliwaves.com and we’ll do our part and give you a 10% discount. That’s kinda the equivelant of 1 free day in camp.
Weather wise it was one of those days, starting off overcast here in Tuban and by the time we got set up down at Uluwatu it was raining. But pretty good from then on and turning out to be another hot and sunny afternoon here on the holiday island.
