14th – 15th November 2013
Hi surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions right here on the first choice tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Yesterday the 14th and there was indeed some nice waves around here on the West Coast. Our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some perfect fun sized waves in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. I forgot there were no fishermen / reef taxi’s working du to an up coming ceremony. So my crew paddled out (around 700mtrs each way) for a low crowd Kuta reef session.
But as it shows in the front of today’s 86 strong photo gallery we also made a run down to Uluwatu just as the tide was starting to run out. As you can see Uluwatu was smoking through some 3-5 footers from Temple’s and the Main Peak through to the top of the Racetrack section. Mostly clean and glassy surfing conditions with the wind light out of the South. Only a total of 40 surfers in the water.
Today the 15th and thought we’d duck back over to the East Coast and see what was happening. Arriving at 6.40Am to find some nice little A frame left and rights with a clean off shore wind on it. These photos are in the second potion of today’s gallery. Under 20 surfers in the water for at least the first hour then growing to 35. Conditions were perfect until the first of two weather squalls moved past us. Briefly it did turn the wind on shore for 20 mins but after passing the wind swung back off shore again. The 2nd one came through shortly there after but when she hit so did the rain and the on shore wind.
Weather wise it’s been cloudy and overcast since yesterday affternoon, a pleasant change from the last month of super hot and humid stuff we had. Right now at 3.30PM the sky is still mainly overcast and the chance of another shower tonight.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.4mtr High at 8.45PM
Ok folks thanks again for tuning in and hang in there cause tomorrow we’ve got more wave hunting going on.
