2nd – 3rd November 2013
Hello friends and another big thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999, infact the first website in Bali for that matter) for the latest news and unbeatable views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place where you’d rather be, Bali.
Well I would have had this current 58 strong photo gallery on line for you guys and girls yesterday only due to a gliche in our server I wasn’t able to load anything up until now. The 2nd of November saw some of the best Tube rides of the year go down at the premier surfing location of Uluwatu. We arrived on location at 7.00AM to find wave height a healthy 4-5ft with a few 6 foot freakies included, and not too mention a clean off shore wind. Did I also mention that there were only around 15 surfers in the water at the time ?
Just check these photos as they really speak for themselves, Ulu was cranking and I think by the time we packed up around 1.00PM there still would have only been around 35 surfers spread out from Temple’s all the way down through the Racetrack.
This morning the 3rd and just for something different I thought we’d sneak over to the East Coast and see if there was any swell hitting Serangan as this place usually picks up it’s fair share. Arriving at 6.45AM to find 1-2ft crumbly waves with an already on shore wind.
So just to keep the variety happening we then headed back to Balangan. Our first view from the top of the hill was of 3-4 footers peeling off on the point and the middle section with a clean off shore wind. Crowd wise I think the peak hit around the 45 souls mark right across the whole line up.
G-Land surf report, 2nd Nov thanks to our friends at Joyo’s G-land Surf Camp was calling in 4-5ft+ waves at Kong’s and Fan Palm sections. Tonnes of blue sky and low low number of surfers still on location
Right now with low numbers in G-Land is the perfect time to to score some perfect waves and cash in on our baliwaves.com 15% discount on offer for the remainder of the 2013 season. Just contact us here at baliwaves and get some money back in your pocket.
Traffic wise now in Bali for the surfers things are so much better with our new Toll road and the new under / over pass. Unfortunately there’s not much they can do for the Kuta to Seminyak area though.
Weather wise the last couple of days have been picture perfect, we even had some pre dawn rain to help cool and clean things down a touch. Then perfect beach weather with plenty of blue sky and hot midday temperatures.
