BALI
10th November 2013
Hello again friends of Bali and welcome aboard the baliwaves.com (doing our best since 1999) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always in season tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Our 6.55Am surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was again showing wave height in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Middle Reef being the best on the low tide and also picking up the odd head high set wave. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the light out of the ENE.
But the crew and I took an extra cup of coffee and let the tide bottom out before heading back up the West Coast to Canggu, to hopefully find a little less water traffic. Seeing as though the wind was already cross shore out of the SE by this time. Arriving to find some semi clean waves on all 3 main sections at Canggu, but certainly no crowd relief with around 50 surfers already in the water over the 3. As the tide came in the wind also increased to almost Trade wind strength but even so there were still some nice shaped waves for everyone.
Today’s Keramas surf report never came through until 10.00Am, calling in wave height at 2ft on the main break with 4 surfers on it. Surfing conditions at this time were apparently still clean and glassy.
Weather wise we did have the odd cloud or two giving us some midday relief today up at Canggu. but all the same just another perfect day for a holiday in Bali. Wind direction is currently SSE-SE at 12knot+
Ok peeps that’s it for me for today. almost time to start preparing for a couple of cold sunset bintangs with the boys.
