BALI
11th – 12th November 2013
Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time out to stop by your baliwaves.com (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and always the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place you’d rather be, Bali.
Yesterday morning the 11th and we were up and drinking our coffee by 4.45AM and getting ready to hit the highway west to Balian. After the usual and un eventfull 2 hr drive on the Bali to Java main. Arriving just before 7.00AM to see some clean as you like 2-3ft+ waves peeling off both left and right on the A frame peak of Balian. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light off shore wind through until 9.20AM when the SE Trade wind kicked in and rapidly increased into the 10-15knot class. On arrival there would have been close to 30 surfers spread out through the line up but by 8.30AM the numbers were looking good at 20 surfers.
Yesterdays 8.00AM Keramas surf report from our man on location was calling wave height on the main break at 1-2ft with clean surfing conditions, tide still a touch too low for a paddle, 2 surfers out on the main break.
Today’s G-Land surf report from our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp is calling wave height in the waist to chest high region on Kong’s. Clean off shore wind and hardly any surfer’s in the water.

Weather wise yesterday it must have been the most warm and humid day of the year, well at Balian anyway for sure. And here it is getting towards the middle of November and we are still getting clean and gusty SE Trade wind. Last night it was looking like we might have been in for some humidity releiving rain, but no, all we got was an hour or so lightning light show here in Tuban
Today the 12th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was as expected not showing any waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left, flat. But we still might be able to find a couple of little fun sized waves down along the beach breaks of Kuta later on.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.6mtr Low at 11.45AM
Weather wise out there again today it’s a mainly blue sky and I think we do have some more lightning storms predicted for tonight. heading for a midday maximum temperature of 34 degree’s celsius.
