30th – 31st December 2013
Hello everyone and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com (delivering the goods since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 30th and we were back over on the East Coast at Keramas. Arriving shortly after 7.00AM to find wave height in the 1-3ft range and pretty clean surfing conditions. You’ll find the photos in the second half of today’s photo gallery.
Today the 31st and first of all we had better be wishing everyone a Happy New Year and hoping we all get a bumper year of perfect waves !
Our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban had wave height at 2-3ft breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were as clean as it gets here on the West Coast with a nice bonus of light Easterly wind for the last day of 2013.
So as it shows in the photos we were surfing here on the West Coast at Canggu. And I do have to say there was some perfect left left and rights breaking up there this morning. Crowd wise for some reason there was hardly any surfers on location until around 10.00AM.
Weather wise it was mainly sunny with some cloudy patches and rain falling late afternoon. Temperature wise it was feeling like 30 degree’s Celsius.
Today’s surf report from Keramas came through at 8.00AM calling in wave height in the 1-3ft class on the main break with 26 surfers in the water at the time. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy.
