BALI
30th November 2013
Hi surfers and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Saturday the 30th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to be in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Wind direction was a light Nor West with a rising tide. Surfing conditions were still clean enough for a paddle even though the wind was on shore.
But as the photos in today’s gallery shows we made our way down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu, always a pleasure. Arriving to find wave height in the head to well over head on the Main Peak. The wind was also on shore down at Ulu but still clean enough to surf. After the tide peaked and was on the run out again the Racetrack section was trying hard to produce some barrels for the 20 or so surfers in the water.
Driving home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there was a small 1-2ft wave running down the top end of Impossible’s and pretty well flat on Padang Padang.
Weather wise it’s been most cloudy with some sunny breaks in between. Today the 1st of December and it’s mostly cloudy out there again, but a welcome relief from the heat for a change. Oh Yeah today the wind is blowing light off shore out of the ESE at the moment here on the West Coast.
