BALI
9th – 10th December 2013
Hi folks and thanks again for tuning into the baliwaves.com (doing our thing since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination that’s got something for the whole family, Bali.
Ok so there wasn’t a lot happening yesterday the 9th, there was a little bit of swell still left over but wind direction was dominant out of the W-SW most of the day. As it shows in today’s photo gallery we took a run up to Canggu as the tide was running in around 10.00AM. Fun sized 2-3 foot waves, well head high on the bigger set waves anyway on the left hand sand bar and the right hand river mouth.
Weather wise we had some sunny patches through the morning and then a mostly overcast afternoon with some rain fall.
Today the 10th and it’s not a bad morning out there so far, plenty of blue sky and right now at 7.30AM there’s barely a breath of wind. Unfortunately the tide is still running out for a 0.6mtr Low scheduled for 9.30AM. So we’ll be hanging around and waiting for the tide to turn then going out to see what we can find in the way of waves. So tune in again later this evening and see what’s going on.
Just a quick look at the baliwaves.com “Surf Cam” this morning which is pointed straight at the Imposible’s line up wasn’t showing too much happening. Best bet for a wave eill be down at Bali’s premier location of Uluwatu.
