Hello surfers and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok well the first half of today’s photo gallery features our effort from yesterday over on Bali’s East coast. Wave height was only in the 2-2ft+ sector, there might have been a freak head high set or two. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy for the morning session, before the wind switched to the SW just before midday. Crowd wise it was pretty good with only 12 surfers in the water on the main break and my crew surfing by themselves on a nice little right hander.
The second half of the gallery we shot here on Bali’s West Coast on the morning of the 13th. We still had a little more size then with 2-4ft+ waves on 3 different sections and only 11 surfers spread through the lot of it. Surfing conditions here were also clean and tidy with a light off shore wind until late morning.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.0mtr High at 10.00AM. We also have a Full Moon rising tonight so we will get back to some solid tidal differences over the next few days.
Weather wise it’s been pretty radical the last 36hrs with lots of rain and strong wind howling out of the W-SW. This morning it was raining earlier but now at 7.30AM it’s taking a break but I’m sure it’s not finished for the day yet.
We’ll be taking off soon to go see if we can still find a few more waves for our crew so tune in again later this afternoon and see what we’ve been up to. If you’ve already checked out the baliwaves.com Surf Cam then you’d know we’ll be heading over to the East Coast again this morning.
