BALI
24th January 2014
Hi folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (trying to knock off early since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions here in Bali again today.
Things got off to a little better start today here on the holiday island, clear blue sky and a much calmer WNW wind. With the tide coming off the bottom and starting to run in we paid another visit back over to Keramas on Bali’s East side. Ariving to find wave height in the 2-3ft range with clean and glassy surfing conditions. But like like all good things not lasting, it would have probably only been an hour later when a solid rain and wind squall blew in out of the WSW.
Anyway we got a few waves and the numbers in the water over at Keramas were pretty good. Around 20 on the main break, 15 at the car park and another 10 at KFC. I’d imagine there would have been a few locations dishing out some nice waves this morning.
Have a good on and drop by over the weekend cause we’ll be out there looking for waves all through it.
