BALI
12th – 13th January 2014
Howdy crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (bringing it to you since 1999) for the start of another surfing week and the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little holiday island that rarely has a day go by that doesn’t have a perfect wave breaking somewhere, BALI.
Ok so as it shows in our current photo gallery, yesterday we were on location here on Bali’s West Coast with Canggu ccranking out the action for us. Wave height was easily pushing double head high on some of the bigger set waves hitting Echo and the Sand bar. While the right hand river mouth was also churning out some nice rides as well. Clean and clam surfing conditions through the early morning with a total of 15 – 20 surfers on the whole beach.
Today the 14th and we were back up to Canggu again today (and why not after scoring perfect empty waves there yesterday), surfing conditions were pretty well the same again as yesterday with some perfect waves breaking this morning. Only 11 surfers in total out surfing, just like having another Christmas. Five surfers on the right hander, 2 on the Sand bar and another 4 out at Echo.
The next tide today will be a 0.8mtr Low at 2.25PM.
Weather wise today it’s gone full circle on us. Early morning rain followed by a clearing sky at 8.00AM. Now at 10.30AM we’ve just had another short but sweet rain storm smash us out of the WSW.
Today’s surf report from Keramas came through at 8.30AM calling wave height hitting the main break in the waist to head high range with 17 surfers on it. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light off shore
Anyway we should have another load of new photos to show ya’s later this evening so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website since 1999.
