BALI
5th January 2014
Hi folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (keeping you intouch with Bali since 1999) for our Sunday Session with today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always “in season” tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some potential with 2-3ft waves between Kuta Reef and Airport left, and a light off shore wind.
So we took a run down to Uluwatu only to find the wind had already switched back to the SSW and on shore. Even so there was still a few ok waves breaking on the Main Peak and down through the Racetrack section ranging in the 3-5ft class. There were around 40+ surfers spread through the line up but still plenty of waves rolling through. It was on our way back home at 2.00PM that the wind did another brief shift to the SE, but not lasting long before reverting back on shore.
The second half of today’s photo gallery are the photos that Ketut shot up at Canggu yesterday the 4th.
Weather wise today it’s been a mainly overcast day and it was raining most of the time we were down on location at Uluwatu, much cooler temperature wise at 26 degree’s Celsius.
