BALI
9th January 2014
Hello everyone and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com (since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so with this mornings surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban showing wave height in the 2-2ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right, with the wind coming outta the West at 8knot. It was an easy choice to head back over to the East Coast to look for the cleanest surfing conditions, and that’s where we went. Arriving just as the tide was starting to run back in to find some clean and tidy 2-3 footers with the wind cross shore. Crowd wise only around 10 surfers in the water from when we turned up through till 2.00PM when we packed it in.
The second half of today’s photo gallery has yesterdays waves featuring and on shore Uluwatu and a cross shore Nusa Dua.
Weather wise today out on the black sand beach it was smoking hot, easily in the mid 30’s on the Celsius scale.
Ok then stay tuned cause we’ll be back out there again tomorrow morning looking for a wave. Hopefully we’ll have a little more swell to work with. You’ll be able to see if there is or not via the Baliwaves “Impossible’s Surf Cam” here on the baliwaves.com.
