Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for another up day on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Here in Bali we have been feeling some strong West to West South West wind battering us for a few days now and keeping location options a little bit limited. Anyway yesterday the 21st my crew surfed over at Serangan on the East Coast. As you can see the Westerly wind was howling up to 20knot+ but there were still a few waves to be had.
Weather wise it was cloudy and overcast on the East Coast which quickly turned into s30 mins of hard rain. Then just as quickly clearing away for some sunshine through the affternoon.
This morning the 22nd and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban wasshowing wave height down in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. More Westerly wind out there again but no where near as strong as yesterday at this point in time. Right now at 8.30Am the tide is just coming off the bottom of the Low and running in for a 2.1mtr High at 1.30PM. So we’ll be heading back to somewhere over on the East Coast again to see if we can find some waves.
Weather wise outside so far so good with plenty of blue sky and heading for a midday top temperature of around 31 degree’s.
