BALI
25th March 2014
Good morning to all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves.com today (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat daily views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s most friendly tropical surfing holiday destination on BALI. So hang up your wet suit and come and enjoy the perfect waves in warm water and sun shine.
Ok we’ll yesterday I was stuck in at Sanglah hospital most of the day so Ketut took our crew up to Canggu here on Bali’s West coast. And as it shows in the photo’s he brought back home it was the indeed the right place to be. Ketut was on the scene at 6.15AM and surfing conditions were perfect with waist to head high waves and a clean off shore wind. Hardly any surfers in the water at first but as the morning progressed there were roughly the normal amount of riders on location. And it was good enough for the boys to have 2 fun sessions before the return trip to Home Base.
Weather wise yesterday it was basically bloody hot all day with the midday temperature pushing the mid 30’s on the Celsius scale.
This morning the 26th and Ketut had our guests outta bed and on the road by 5.30AM to make sure they once again scored the best possible waves and conditions possible. He has phoned through from where they are surfing calling wave height still around the chest to head high range with clean off shore wind. But I guess we’ll just have to wait till he gets home to see the photos.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.9mtr Low around 1.00PM
Weather wise outside it’s shaping up for another hot one on the beach and that’ll be the optimum place to be today.
Ok the latest Press Release on our last Beach Clean Up is on line on baliwaves so if your interested to see what’s been happening to improve the beach quality for everyone by the local community here in Bali check it out and offer some support.
I still haven’t had a chance to get those Mentawai Islands photos on line but that’s a priority for today and a big thanks to our friends up at the Kandui Surf Resort for sending them through.
Nypie Day 2014 is fastly approaching on the 31st of March so I thought I’d just give you a quick heads up on that. You know the day the whole island of Bali, International airport included shuts completely down for the day and all public (local and internation) must remain indoors / off the streets and beach for the day.
