BALI
10th March 2014
Happy 6th birthday to my big guy Wayan Ray today !!!
Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (doing our best since 1999) for the latest news and best views from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok this one handed (left) typing thing is pretty tricky so I’ll keep the reports down to the minimum and keep them more visual for now.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing a few fun sized waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still on the run out at 6.45AM so Middle Reef was the best option out there with waist to head high set waves. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light out of the North.
Today’s photo gallery was shot over at Keramas yesterday and as it shows there was no shortage of waves and some solid ones as well. Ketut was calling 3-4ft but I think it’s a safe bet to say there was some solid double over head (5ft) sets coming through. The surprising thing is that there was only around 20 surfers in the line up from start to finish.
The boys from EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY down at the always scenic Bingin Beach have also dropped us off another gallery of photos that was captured yesterday afternoon and I’ll get those on line as fast as I can..
Our good friends at the Kandui surf resort up in the Mentawai’s have also sent us through another handful of photos and there surf report and I have already loaded this onto their surf report page so check that out as well while your here.
Weather wise well it’s just been another day of blue sky and sunshine here on the holiday paradise island of Bali with a top temperature of 32 degree’s Celsius.
