BALI
11th – 12th March 2014
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (delivering the goods since 1999) for the latest news and unbeatable views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok first up I suppose, today’s photo gallery features 2 of Bali’s red hot surfing locations. The first 41 photos were snapped off here on Bali’s West coast at Canggu yesterday by our man Ketut. The second half of the gallery was delivered to me this morning from Mul at EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY located down in front of the action at Bingin beach also here on Bali’s West coast, featuring Bingin of course.
Hey and as it clearly shows both locations were pumping.
This morning the 12th and our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs was again showing some nice and fun looking waves. The tide was still running in and there was chest to head high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left with the occasional bigger freak set hitting Middle Reef. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and with the wind coming out of the NNE and practically of shore.
Our man over on the East coast at Keramas called through at 7.30Am telling of perfect 3-4 footers hitting the main break with 20 surfers in the water. Surfing conditions were faultless with a light off shore wind.
I’ve also got another batch of photos and a surf report from our friends up in the Mentawai Islands at the famous Kandui Resort, so stay tuned for those gems.
The next tide today here in Bali is going to be a 1.0mtr Low around 2.00PM
Weather wise today it’s been a partly sunny and partly cloudy kinda morning and right now at 12 noon the outside temperature is sitting on a warm 30 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is now coming out of the WSW at 10knot+
