BALI
18th March 2014
Hi everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves.com (keeping you in the loop with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and hottest views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Ok so here’s our latest photo gallery that Ketut captured yesterday at Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast. And as it shows wave height was coming through consistently in the 2-4ft range or waist to slightly over head class. Surfing conditions through the morning were clean and glassy until the wind switched to the SE around 10.30AM.
This morning the 18th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was pretty much showing similar waves and conditions as yesterdays. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left breaking in the waist to head high range. Surfing conditions were clean enough with the wind still light and variable.
Ketut has the reins again today and taken our crew down to the bukit and the ever scenic Balangan beach. According to Ketut wave down at Balangan is a fun sized chest to head high with the occasional slightly bigger set wave. Surfing conditions are currently perfect with a light off shore wind and only 10 surfers in the line up. So I’d have to image it’s cranking down at Uluwatu again today as well with more size and power.
No news from the East Coast this morning or from G-Land but I’m sure there are some waves to be had there as well. Especially G-Land and if you would like a 10% discount to seal the deal and get you over to the famous perfect waves of East Java at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp just contact us here at baliwaves and we’ll get you there for less.
Weather wise out there this morning it was a mainly blue sky but there is some high and thin cloud moving over now at 10.15AM. Temperature wise the mercury is already at a warm 27 degree’s Celsius and the Humidity at 79%.
The next tide today in Bali will be a big and fat old 2.5mtr High around the 11.00AM mark.
