BALI
26th -27th March 2015
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (Bali’s first and still original surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Well on the 26th as I mentioned in our last surf up date on the baliwaves Ketut and our guests made their way back to Canggu here on Bali’s west coast. So what you have already checked out in current photos is what the boys were surfing. Once again with limited swell but perfect conditions for Canggu I think our team did alright for themselves. They also topped this session off with an afternoon glass off surf at Airport Left in 2-3ft+ waves.
Yesterday the 27th and it was straight back out to Airports to surf more perfect 2-3 footers with a total number of 5 surfers in the water.
Weather wise it’s just been nothing but hot and sunny here on the holiday island. Last night we did have a few drops of rain but outside now (28th) at 6.30AM it’s shaping up for more of the same. Absolutely perfect weather for a vacation.
This mornings (28th) surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking like fun with 2-3 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There were already a handful of surfers out on all 3 of the main sections at 6.25AM
We’ll be heading off as soon as breakfast is done back out on the wave hunt and the charts are showing a slight bump in wave height through out the day. Wind wise at the moment it’s a light NNE but expecting it to turn to the easter quadrant later this morning.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 2.3mtr High @ 8.30AM
Ok folks stay tuned cause I’ll be updating the site through my twitter feed from out on location where ever we may end up at.
Nypie Day 2014 is fast approaching on the 31st of March so I thought I’d just give you a quick heads up on that. You know the day the whole island of Bali, International airport included shuts completely down for the day and all public (local and internation) must remain indoors / off the streets and beach for the day.
