Uluwatu to Canggu 28th – 29th March 2014

Hello everyone and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (the one and only baliwaves surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best damn views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place that has something for everyone, Bali.

Ok so Friday morning saw us down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving at 8.15AM to a rising tide, clean off shore wind and wave height in the chest to well over head class. Yeah, and as it shows in today’s photo gallery it was indeed cranking while the tide was pushing in. The Main Peak and Temple sections was where the best waves were with the tide to full for the Racetrack section to produce it’s magic. Funny thing though, as the tide passed through the high and started to run out wave height was getting smaller with each batch of set waves.

Weather wise down on the bukit it was once again your typical “dry season” stuff with nothing but blue sky and a very warm midday temperature of at least 33 degree’s Celsius.

Today the 29th I took my crew back to Canggu. Arriving at 7.00AM to find more perfect waves on all three of the main breaks in this area (Echo beach, the Sand Bar & Rivermouth). At first it looked like wave height was only in the 2-2ft+ range but soon enough there were some solid over head head waves pouring through. Surfing conditions could not have been any better with the wind off shore out of the North through until the SE Tradewind kicked in at 10.00AM

Weather wise today the 29th “as above”
