BALI
9th – 10th April 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest on surfing and weather conditions from right here on everyone’s favorite tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so we have in fact been pretty busy for you guys the last couple of days. I spent most of Tuesday in at the hospital waiting to see if I was getting my plaster cast of my hand. After 4 weeks of wearing it it was starting to wear me down, but everything turned out great and I’m back on the mend again, cast free. How ever Ketut on the other hand took our crew over to the East Coast and scored some nice waves, only having to share with a handful of other surfers.
Yesterday the 9th and it was polling day here in Bali to see who would be our Governer. But today the 10th as you can see in our gallery we were up on the West Coast at Canggu trying to maximize our chance of finding some waves. And with what was on offer today I think we did ok.
Weather wise today it was just your average day for Bali, blue sky and midday top temperature of 31 degree’s Celsius. Wind wise first off this morning it was coming lightly out of the North but by 9.00AM more to the NW and then swinging all the way West by 10.30AM. Right now at 5.30PM it seems to have even slipped into the Southern quadrant.
