BALI
7th -8th April 2014
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (delivering you the goods since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from the best locations, right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so yesterday as it shows in this current photo gallery we had Ketut take a run down to the southern end of the island to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. His secondary mission was to trouble shoot the baliwaves.com web cam. The last handful of photos in this gallery Ketut took over looking Impossible’s and Bingin.
Arriving at Ulu by 8.15AM to find only a handful of surfers in the water with wave height in the chest to over head division. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy before the wind started to come up out of the West around mid morning.
Today the 8th and our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height in the 2-2ft+ range, between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running out at the time for a mid range Low and the wind light out of the North.
From there Ketut hit the road back over to the East coast to see what was happening and has reported back in of a solid crowd on the main break of Keramas and even high numbers out on the car park and down at Charlies. At the time wave height was still only in the waist to chest high range, but with the tide still running in there was a big chance of some head to over head high waves yet to come. We’ll get today’s photo’s on line for ya’s ASAP (along with all the other stuff we’ve got to get loaded up for ya’s)
Weather wise today it’s been pretty well just hot and sunny all day and right now at 4.45PM the temperature is still sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius. Humidity level is at 71% and the wind out of the WSW at 8-10knot.
