BALI
27th May 2014
Hello surfers and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (since 1999) for today’s news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 6.45AM mandatory surf check on the Outer reefs here on Tuban was still showing some nice sized waves between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right. The tide was still running in and the wind already keen out of the ESE and 2-4ft+
(chest to well over head high) waves.
But as it shows in today’s fresh photo gallery we were down South on the bukit. As the tide passed through the high and started to run out Balangan started to crank out some nice waves and some clean barrels. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad either.
Weather wise it was a cloudy grey morning but when the SE Tradewind kicked in it didn’t take too long to clear up. Turning out hot and sunny by late morning. Right now at 5.15PM the mercury is still sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 75%. Wind direction is out of the ESE at 10-15knot.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to Joyo’s G-land Surf Camp was calling in wave height at 4-6ft with a light off shore wind.
