BALI
19th May 2014
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop since 1999) for today’s news and best views on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok this mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs showing wave height in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the tide just coming off the bottom of the low.
We hung out at home for an extra hour to get a little more tide and then headed for Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast. AS it shows in the photos wave height was still in the 2-3ft range with odd bigger freak set. Not too bad crowd wise with less than 30 surfers on the right hander and 15 on the left.
Weather wise it’s been another mainly sunny day with some cloudy patches. That’s about it for me as I gotta hustle to get ready to go get some Mexican with the crew. Stay tuned cause I’ve still got more stuff to load up, have a good one.
